Product Details

The 1746-IB32 SLC 500 24 Volt DC Digital Output Module by AB is a 32-point current sinking input module with 24 Volt DC input voltage with an 8-point group per common. It has a temperature-dependent sinking voltage range of 15 to 30 Volt DC at 50 degrees Celsius and 15 to 26.4 Volts DC at 60 degrees Celsius and has an overall backplane electrical rating of 0.050A at 5 Volts DC and 0.0A at 24 Volts DC respectively. The 1746-IB32 offers isolation from the backplane tested at 1500 Volts AC for 60 seconds between the backplane and the I/O and it has a 1500 Volt AC dielectric withstand. The 1746-IB32’s 32-input point is electrically-fused for protection over the external wiring and it has a maximum of a single 2.5A non-replaceable fuse per common.

The minimum voltage across its circuit in the ON state is 15.0 Volts DC and in its OFF state, it has a maximum voltage drop of 5.0 Volts DC and a maximum leakage current of 1.5 mA. The 1746-IB32 module has a maximum signal delay time of 3ms across its inputs in the ON and the OFF mode and it has an overall nominal input current of 5.1 mA at 24 Volts DC nominal voltage. It has a maximum 0.2 Watt power dissipation on each input point and it has a 6.67 aggregate power dissipation on the module. The 1746-IB32 has an operating temperature bracket between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius (32 and 140 degrees Celsius) at 5 to 95% non-condensing humidity and it has an operational vibrational withstand of 1G at 5 to 200 Hertz and a shock rating of 30G.
